The department has the following laboratories to meet the requirements of ECE. They are all well established with latest equipment and softwares so as to provide the required infrastructures to carry in house projects as well as R & D activities. All the labs caters the requirements for conducting experiments for 37 students per session.
In this Laboratory, the characteristics of various semi-conductor devices like diodes, BJTs, UJT, FETs, DIACs, TRIACs etc., are experimentally studied. The major equipment in this lab includes CROs, function generators, Regulated power supplies, Millimeters, Bread board trainers, Ammeters, Voltmeters, Trainer kits etc.
In this Laboratory the performance of different linear and non-linear wave shaping circuits and digital circuits using 74xx series of ICs are observed experimentally. The major equipment in this lab includes CROs, function generators, Regulated power supplies, Millimeters, Bread board trainers, Ammeters, Voltmeters, Trainer kits etc.
In this lab various analog Modulation Techniques like AM, FM, PM and Detection Methods, digital modulation techniques like ASK, FSK, PSK, QPSK, PCM, DPCM Etc., and designing of different communication circuits are experimentally studied. The major equipment in this lab includes all types of analog and digital communication lab trainer kits, function generators, RF signal generators, power supplies, Digital Storage Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzer etc.
In this laboratory frequency response of amplifiers and Oscillator Circuits and Rectifiers are studied using MULTISIM software and microprocessor programming using TASM. HDL programming using Active HDL & XILINX. Also the digital signal processing concepts using MATLAB are studied here. The major equipment in this lab includes Personal Computers, with MULTISIM, MATLAB, TASM, XILINX and Active HDL softwares, DSP trainer kits, FPFGA kits etc.
This lab enables the students to gain experience on the applications of various Linear and digital integrated circuits using LM555,LM741,723 integrated circuits. The major equipment includes linear IC trainers, Digital IC trainers, Oscilloscopes, Function generators, Bread board trainers, Regulated power supplies, IC tester etc
This lab enables the students to gain experience on the programming concepts based on microprocessors, microcontrollers and interfacing peripherals. The major equipment includes microprocessors kits, Microcontroller kits, Interfacing modules, Bread board trainers, Regulated power supplies, CROs etc.
In this Laboratory, experiments based on optical fibers and microwave bench are performed. The major equipment in this lab includes microwavebenches, optical fiber trainer kits, Digital storage oscilloscopes, LASER diode trainer, LED characteristics.
In this laboratory ,experiments based on MATLAB sofware includes C programming which verifies the frequency respose of the analog and digital filters and using TMS320C657 kit.The major experiments are done by using DSP trainer kits.
